It’s really a shame.  Not only are the street-crossers missing out on some high quality dog slobber, they’re totally missing the bigger picture. If they’d just take a longer look, they’d notice the sparkle in his eye, the jaunt in his step and the wag of his tail.  Most importantly, they’d see that there’s nothing really scary about him. Perhaps then they’d be forced to question their decision to cross the street in the first place.

That’s right!  And for the past 14 years, Demo’s been fearlessly spreading love and slobber to people everywhere.  In fact, he’s licked more faces and made more friends than probably any other dog in history!  Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but honestly, who could deny such a charming and good-looking fella?

Well, believe it or not, there are plenty of people who do. Indeed, on any given day, quite a few individuals cross to the other side of the street when they see Demo walking toward them.  They don’t trust his looks, because his looks give him away as an American Pit Bull Terrier – the most misunderstood and feared breed of dog in the world today.

Unfortunately, life isn’t that simple, and that’s why this book is long overdue.  Finally the tale of today’s underdog has been written, and for all those street-crossers it’s time to take notice and look at the big picture.  Appearances don’t make the dog, slobbery kisses do.
